USING 3D FASHION FOR ADVERTISEMENTS

In today’s age, digital fashion is already in use as a brilliant product development tool, as part of the business’s chain supply. It helps to cut back on the development time, and costs and is the sustainable choice going forward. 

However, 3D fashion isn’t developed enough when it comes to the advertising field. Most fashion brands still use real-life models, studios, and photographers to create commercials for their collections in a social media world that demands more and more exposure. Similar to the way 3D fashion is being used for PD, using this tool for advertisements will substantially cut the deliverables time, while creating numerous options, saving on PR costs, and will be the sustainable choice, cutting back on physical sample usage.

How is it done?


STEP 1- CLIENT’S BRIEF


The first step is a short brief on the needs and wants of the client.

after that chat, we will refer back and create inspiration boards and sketches for the upcoming advertisement.

STEP 2- Product Developement


The next step is creating a digital sample of the product.
We can both use the Vendor’s digital pattern or we can develop the pattern ourselves based on spec.
Digitizing the fabric is a crucial step in order to achieve the best realistic result, not only visually, but also regarding the fabric’s properties. If the digital sample is created in an accurate way- the simulation can be also used for the product developent side of the brand!

STEP 3- AD CREATION

While the client’s approving the digital sample for use, back at the studio, we are working hard on creating a few ad options and directions, all based on our research of the brand’s aesthetic and their initial brief, all done while keeping the special and unique sensibility of the brand.

STEP 4- THE AD IS READY!


The finished ads are ready to be used on social media and on the Brand’s app/ E-commerce website!
